Mini Kids Bobble Hat - Free Knitting Pattern

BOBBLE HATS! That is all.. Not sure what my obsession is with bobble hats but i love them! Wintery bobble hats are my favourite to make, maybe its because i am obsessed with pom poms, light and fluffy pom poms, oh how i love you!

Have you seen my Pinterest board dedicated to pom poms? If you haven't then you must go check it out and then you will see what my obsession with pom poms is all about! I would love to know if you have a pom pom obsession like me? so i know i am not the only one in the world - It's okay to admit to it hehe!

Anywho, enough with my pom pom addiction, for this cute hat pattern i used Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick in Raspberry for the brim of the hat and pom pom and colour Fisherman for the main body of the hat, i really like these two colours together. This hat is the perfect gift for Christmas for a little one you may know.

Cut yarn leaving a long tail and thread through remaining stitches, pull tight to close hat up and weave in ends.

Bobble:
> Wrap yarn around palm of hand 100 times.
> Slip the wrapped yarn off the palm of your hand, Do this carefully as you dont want it to unravel and place it over a 18 inch length piece of yarn.
> Tie the 15 inch piece of yarn tightly around the wrapped yarn, I usually tie a knot 2 or 3 times to make sure it is secure.
> Using sharp scissors cut the loops of the wrapped yarn and trim your yarn ball to size, Make sure you don’t cut your longer strands of yarn from the 15 inch piece as you will need these to attach to your hat.
Attach bobble to hat securely and weave in ends.
