Mini Kids Winter Headwarmer Pattern - Free Knitting Pattern

This cute mini kids headwarmer pattern was one of my first knitting pattern designs ever (a few years ago) i have always loved seeing knitted items and looking at knitting projects but to be honest i was quite intimidated to try it or once i learnt a few stitches to actually carry on with it.

Not sure if i felt intimidated because all the stitches always look so neat and perfect or because of all the stitch patterns you could achieve (let me tell you there are hundreds, probably thousands) but as time has gone on i have actually leaned more towards knitting than crochet, not sure if that is because i have a very painful ganglion cyst on my wrist (more than likely from crocheting too much) and it's too painful to keep crocheting where as with knitting i dont feel it too much.

As you can see in these pictures the neat stitches i go on about are not fully achieved in this pattern, like i said i was very new to knitting but as time as gone on my stitches are getting neater. Do you have a favourite, knitting or crocheting? I would also love to know why?

Hope you enjoy this weeks free knitting pattern and come and follow Wool and Stitch on Instagram to be kept upto date with latest designs @wool_and_stitch
